A Little Bit About Anne Stougaard 

 For Anne stoneware represents strength and weight, while the porcelain stands for light, elegance and poetry. Material, form, the integration of clay, glaze and decorations are important to her, but good handwork and a knowledge of materials and how to fire the ceramics to receive the preferred effect, which is the major unpredictable factor, especially when salt-glazing.

Floral forms, colours and the diversity in the nature leave Anne with constant experiences. She feels it is a necessity for her to express herself and her textile like decorated ceramics is what she is known for.
